The members of the Guardian Speech & Debate Club invite you to join them for a wholesome, family evening of English country dancing.

Where: Fort Hill Baptist Church 2335 Sevier Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920

When: Saturday, December 7, 2024. Doors open at 5:30. Dancing begins at 6:00.

Who: This is a family event; we ask parents to join in!! At least one adult must attend with their student(s).

Tickets: $15 per person w/ $30 family max. Parents do not need to pay.

Dress: This is a formal event.
Ladies: Gowns or tea-length dress (no strapless, please) with modest neckline (you will be bending over!!). Your dress should allow your arms to move freely and modestly in all directions and at a fast pace while turning, hunching under "bridges", and the like. Your dress shoes should allow you to move on the dance floor (forward and backward) without difficulty. This is an athletic event, as well as a beautiful one!

Gentlemen: This dance requires formal attire. That means, at a minimum, dress pants and a collared shirt and tie. Suit jackets, dress kilts, bow ties, and vests are encouraged. Dress shoes requested.
